Dragon Boat Festival

In celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival, children were introduced to how and why the Dragon Boat Festival was celebrated by many people. To build on children’s interest in rice dumplings, children engaged in a rice dumping-making session. They were introduced to a range of ingredients and steps involved in making the rice dumplings.

The children exercised their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they helped to make the dumplings. Children were filled with excitement as they tasted the dumplings they hand-made in the morning!
