Hari Raya Celebration
Marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan is the festival of Eid, known in Singapore as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Hari Raya Puasa. Children were introduced to how and why Muslims celebrate the festival. The children participated in various cooperative games with their peers. The classroom was decorated with the children’s colourful crafts depicting symbols often used to represent Ramadan such as the crescent moons, and stars.
